'Game Of Thrones' Season 7: Sophie Turner Teases Sansa's 'Power Trip' & More

'Game Of Thrones' Season 7: Sophie Turner Teases Sansa's 'Power Trip' & More

Now that Sansa is free from Ramsay's clutches, she'll find herself with more power than ever before in "Game of Thrones" season 7. She was the one who saved Jon Snow and his men from total destruction at the hands of Ramsay in the Battle of the Bastards by asking for Littlefinger's help.

A teaser trailer has also been recently released and it shows more of what to expect from Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, and Jon Snow.

Still, being Ned Stark's daughter, Sansa is the second-most powerful figure in Winterfell, and according to Sophie Turner, Sansa's on a bit of a "power trip" in Season 7.

"She's seemingly in control for the first time-and it really suits her", Turner told EW. "But she's also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds". She knows she has power, and she enjoys wielding it. That won't be much of a problem since the Stark sisters have never seen eye to eye in the first place. Since rumors (and filming pics) suggest Jon will be leaving Sansa in charge of Winterfell while he heads south in search of allies against the White Walkers, I highly doubt that.

What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together and it feels like things are ramping up. "It's really exciting and all feels like it's coming to a big conclusion".

A former report from GamenGuide revealed that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 might still be aired with such great scenes and episodes but the renewal and the air date for "Game of Thrones" Season 8 is facing a downside turn and rumors have surfaced that HBO will no longer fund the finale season since Netflix is bound to take over.
