Nicole Wilfinger sentencing: a dossier of exploits.

"I accept my responsibility I know this is my mistake", Wilfinger said in court November 30, according to KSNV.

Terri Miller, president of a group seeking to preventsexual abuse by teachers, said eight teachers had been arrested on sexual assault charges against students in the past year in Clark County, the local area.

Wilfinger and the teenaged victim both told police they had sex three times, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Told the weeping woman: 'There's nothing I can say or do to change what happened or the fact it happened or the fact that people were hurt by it'.

"I've had to hold him in my arms while he cried his eyes out", the mother said, according to KSNV.

And she gave the boy oral sex in her van, police files said. Investigators recovered 156 text messages and 325 images that had been deleted from Wilfinger's phone.

Wilfinger had worked at Molasky Junior High School since 2012 and had previously taught at Hyde Park Junior High School.

His mother blasted the teacher and family friend as "evil".
