Is This Your First FF Game? Here's Everything You NEED To Know

"Final Fantasy XV" will finally be released this year and a lot of players have been waiting for it since the game has undergone 10 years of development.

The full list of changes and additions introduced as part of Final Fantasy XV's day one patch have been revealed. It's likely the same will happen with Final Fantasy 15, which means most of the game's sales will likely come during the current holiday season.

Sadly, while all of the special edition products are released in Japan tomorrow, it doesn't seem they'll make it this way too. Square Enix's "Crown Update" will add some new cutscenes in the the title that were taken from the movie "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" and from the "Final Fantasy XV" "Omen" game trailer. At E3 2013, it was renamed as Final Fantasy XV and subsequently faced several release delays. However, the game's frame rate never wavers from its target 30 FPS, which is something that even the PS4 Pro can't do at launch.

What better way to celebrate the passage of a decade or so spent waiting for the new installment of a popular video game franchise than with a commemorative Sony Walkman? While sales will undoubtedly continue into 2017, history shows that Square Enix should expect a substantial drop off similar to Final Fantasy 13. The canned versions show off several of Final Fantasy XIII's characters, including Lightning and Sazh Katzroy.

Another interesting detail is that when someone asked if Final Fantasy XVI was underway, the informant answered "FFXVI is only going to happen if XV does well". You can get your hands on the Xbox One version cheaper at Zavvi than anywhere else for £37.99.

When asked if Matsuda-san might get upset about it, Tabata responded by saying Matsuda looked pretty happy and was a good sport about it, so there shouldn't be any issues there.
