European giants set to sign Chelsea and Real Madrid's top target — Reports

The Old Lady has been making pacts with the Devil since the turn of the 20th century.

Manchester City and Chelsea were reported to hold an interest in the former Inter and Bari man 12 months ago, although he briefly quelled speculation over his future by penning a contract extension until 2021 at Juventus Stadium last December.

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, who has been linked to FC Barcelona and a few Premier League sides, is reportedly set for a shock transfer.

Media are also claiming that the deal is almost done and few paper works are yet to be completed.

Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the deal is done and Bonucci is practically a Milan player.

'There are no feelings at the moment, ' he was quoted as saying by Calciomercato.com.

AC Milan will use Leonardo Bonucci to send a huge statement of intent ahead of the forthcoming Serie A season.

This is published unedited from the IANS feed. For example, Paolo Rossi was permitted to leave Juventus for Milan in 1985 because at the time the Rossoneri weren't considered a threat.

Milan have already splurged close to €100m on signings so far in the transfer window as they aim to get back amongst the European Elite. Milan, you may recall, famously obtained Pirlo, Clarence Seedorf, Dario Simic, Thomas Helveg and Cristian Brocchi, all of whom incidentally would go onto win the Champions League in their colours, in exchange for Andres Guglielminpietro, Drazen Brncic, Cyril Domoraud and Francesco Coco.
