Conor McGregor won't be touched by Ferguson before he KO's him - coach

"The doctors already know that I'm not injured".

"I think he was just saying it to keep people on their toes". He could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show. "You need to get your (expletive) together and come fight me, straight up". But of course, it makes sense that he fights (Ferguson), he defends the belt. "I'd love to go into that WWE and have a real knock".

Dismissing Ferguson as the easier fight will certainly draw the ire of the interim champion but it will be up to the UFC to decide which of the two fighters McGregor faces next. Like, he's an exciting fighter. So either or, either or.

"I'd just be happy to get Conor back in the UFC, fighting in the cage and doing what we do best". I just can't wait for that first to go again.

"He has some things to tie up in the UFC before he can do anything else but this is a big money deal so I can't see him turning it down". It'll be a completely different training camp, and he's not ready, man.

"He's good, obviously. He wouldn't be the interim champion if he wasn't good".

"I think Conor's full of shit, I don't think he's going to fight this year", said the Jiu Jitsu specialist. If Ferguson tries to stand with Conor for an extended period of time it will be lights out, in my opinion. I took a couple a shots (against Lee), but sometimes you've got to take one to give two, and with Conor, I don't want to get hit.

"But this time it looks like a deal is going to be locked into place".

Espinoza continued - "Boxing fans are harder on their sport than any other sport and in some ways deservedly so".

Whilst many were hoping that McGregor would enter a third match with his most formidable opponent in Nate Diaz, there's yet to be any news of that from either party.

"El Cucuy" unsurprisingly called out McGregor in an expletive-laden rant after that third-round submission at T-Mobile Arena, persevering with his irksome "McNuggets" nickname and urging his rival to either defend his belt or vacate it. Roddy isn't so sure Ferguson could absorb that kind of damage without going down and out for good.

"You know, he's tough as well".

"Well, I think because we came through those two Diaz fights we'd be a bit more capable of dealing with the tall, rangy guy". We saw that against Mayweather and if Kevin Lee connected with [Ferguson], sure as hell Conor will connect as well.
