Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie reports to Giants facility after suspension: report

Rodgers-Cromartie loses $410,588 in pay each week he's suspended. McAdoo met with DRC on Tuesday and told him he was going to be benched for Sunday's game against the Broncos in Denver, one of the seven inactive players.

With an open spot on their practice squad following Deayon's promotion, the Giants signed cornerback Brandon Dixon.

Per the league's collective bargaining agreement, a team-imposed "indefinite suspension" can last anywhere from one to four weeks. There was no apparent physical altercation. Somehow things are getting worse: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie got suspended by the team Wednesday for what amounts to going AWOL. He returned an interception for a touchdown against the Jets this summer.

. He admitted to handling "it the wrong way, but to sit me a game had me hot so I left". McAdoo's gruff demeanor worked when the team was winning games, but now he just seems like a Bill Belichick-impersonator that has nowhere near enough cache to pull off the Belichick schtick.

According to reports on social media, Cromartie is upset about his role in the team's defense. He also had a half sack.

In his weekly appearance on Mike Francesa's WFAN show Wednesday, Brian Billick said he doesn't buy into the cliche of a coach losing the locker room.

That's not, however, how Landon Collins saw it.

Rodgers-Cromartie was a big contributor to the secondary. "Decided to leave and we will put him on suspension".

This all reflects back on the head coach.

"DRC came in [Tuesday]". Shepard was out of his walking boot.
