Scott Frost wants to see 8-team College Football Playoff

UCF feels its accomplishment in winning the American Athletic Conference championship was undervalued by the CFP selection committee, which listed the Knights 12th in the panel's final rankings. Not to mention the obvious issue that comes with having eight teams in the field - that the next team left out would still be complaining.

Can't get enough of Campus Sports? Twitter, of course, has something to say on both sides of the argument and some think the brackets should be expanded.

The celebration will include a pep rally and a ceremony for Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to give the Knights the key to the city.

Eventually, Frost was allowed into the press box as a discussion about expanding the playoff field to eight teams ironically loomed on a television playing ESPN in the background.

Frost wasn't picking random teams, either.

Both seasons, Alabama won the national title.

"It happens to a lot of programs, it happened to Nebraska", Frost said of Alabama's dip in success for the decade before Saban's arrival.

It was bound to happen at some point.

"I'm fine with it", Saban said.

"There's been some things broken in Lincoln for awhile that kept them from winning and until those things changed, I didn't really have an interest in going back", Frost said.

The players were greeted by crowds of fans during a parade at the Magic Kingdom on Sunday.
