Steve Bannon out at Breitbart News after split with Trump

The memo, titled "Pundit Prep", urged Trump's defenders to first focus on "jobs, jobs, jobs", and also offered tips on discrediting Wolff and his tome.

Bannon's ouster follows the publication of an inflammatory new book on the Trump White House with scathing comments attributed to Bannon.

That one viewer was pleased: Trump tweeted that Miller had destroyed Tapper. Trump insisted that border security must be part of any deal to replace the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that temporarily spared DREAMers from deportation.

As Trump's responses to criticism often do, this one exceeded the bounds of reality. With an office in the West Wing and a direct line to the Oval Office - he reported to no one but the president initially - he seemed well positioned to wreak havoc on the political institutions and leaders he railed against as too corrupt and self-serving. In the book, Bannon is quoted as describing Donald Trump, "treasonous" and "unpatriotic" for meeting with Russian lawyers during the 2016 presidential campaign.

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly told reporters at Camp David that he had not been aware of Trump's morning tweets.

Bannon's departure from Breitbart came as a shock to some of his allies.

Iran: Nuclear Deal Not Renegotiable
He wants to make the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program permanent so Iran never gets any closer to building a nuclear bomb. The JCPOA aimed to gradually lift economic and diplomatic sanctions on Tehran in exchange for Iran ending its nuclear program.

And that he only joined in the race for the mind-boggling publicity - and by extension commercial gain - that it could bring him and the Trump Organization. And Steve has a singular vision about where he thinks the country should be and what has to happen to make America great again. "Breitbart was his voice and it's been taken away from him, leaving him with nothing".

"I'm proud of what the Breitbart team has accomplished in so short a period of time in building out a world-class news platform", Bannon said in a statement cited by Breitbart News.

"Donald Trump - and this is - if you say this around the president, the top of his head blows off. But this is absolutely true, that Steve Bannon is responsible for Donald Trump's election". Under his watch, Breitbart News was seen as strongly pro-Israel, with a dedicated Jerusalem bureau. And then, along comes Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff.

Overall, there's not much inside this book that you haven't already seen online, on social media, or in your newspaper. And now it is those same traits that have led to his demise.

Earlier Tuesday, Bannon stepped down from his position at the far-right website Breitbart News Network. Instead, they urged investigation of Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored an explosive dossier including information that Trump may have been compromised by Moscow.

"The Mercers turned against Bannon months ago", Swan also wrote.

"One of the other tragedies of this grotesque work of fiction is its portrayal of the president", Miller said.
