Samsung did move the fingerprint sensor on the back to reduce smears on the camera lens.

The rumor mill is filled to the brim with reports on the Galaxy S9, but we now have a clear picture of the smartphone's specifications and features from Samsung's official announcement of the device at MWC 2018. The two phones have been the talk of the town all through the week, and for good reason.

Even so, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ appear to be significantly less expensive than its closest rival, the iPhone X. With a radical new design that featured the controversial "notch" that divided the Apple community, we saw a new type of phone that did something different and managed to stand apart from other current phones. Samsung, this time, has listened to the complaints regarding the issue and placed the fingerprint sensor at a comfortable place, below the camera setup. In fact, last year's option just became a better choice for certain consumers as it has dropped down in price, and you can get an even better deal today if you opt for a refurbished model. The phone gets a large 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels in the 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Unlike the S9, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is not an incremental upgrade on its predecessor. With the new design, that shouldn't happen as much. Security on the phone is handled by the Samsung KNOX system. Adding to the premium feel of the phone is the lack of a physical button on the front.

For a flagship device, what lies under the hood is as important as the smartphone's outward appearance. Samsung Galaxy S9+ 64GB variant is rumoured to be priced around Rs 70,000 whereas 256GB variant will cost Rs 79,000.

There's to be no bump up in memory allowance, however, with both phones running on 4GB of RAM. Bixby also seems capable of some entertaining new stuff, which will probably trickle down to the GS8 duo eventually too.

Apart from the SoC, the phone brings with it 128GB of storage data and 6GB of RAM.

As you can see, the S9 definitely looks brighter.

Samsung has seen its lead in the world market increasingly threatened, with its share of the Chinese market plunging below two percent in the fourth quarter past year. This one will jump between F1.5 and F2.4.

"The result is photos with far less noise than anything we've seen on a smartphone, " he wrote. According to an invite sent by the company, Samsung will launch its next Galaxy series on 6 March in India.

Along with two lenses, the Galaxy S9+ has an all-new Portrait photography mode. If the battery doesn't last very long, you can't use any of the fancy features a device has.

The Galaxy S9 looks nearly exactly like the Galaxy S8, as expected, but don't be fooled. The feature, however, will be available only to a select regions for now. Both are dust and water resistant thanks to the IP68 certification, have fast charging and fast wireless charging, and feature 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh batteries respectively.

Nokia's also included its "Bothie camera" on the Sirocco.

The new phones come in three colors in the U.S.

The Galaxy S9+ might drive rates up to Rs 70000 for the 64GB model and escalate them to Rs 79000 for the 256GB one. Now, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus were launched last week and the pre-orders have already started with the phone to be available by March first week. The company also will announce the prices for Indian market on the same day.

Another notable upgrade is the presence of a second speaker at the top of the front panel, tuned by AKG Acoustics and offering 40 percent louder output than the Galaxy S8. The S9 variant is cheaper than iPhone 8, what do you have to say about the pricing?
